Caroline

Caroline  grew up about 25 miles outside of New York City in Montclair, New Jersey. Caroline was a four-year three-season varsity athlete.  She competed in volleyball, winter track, and lacrosse. Through her many seasons of playing she accumulated multiple concussions causing her to be unable to continue her athletic career and focus more on academics. Caroline decided to come to Marist College with the intent to study Communications, concentrating in advertising and public relations. Caroline has been interning at InStyle Magazine for the past four summers. She has focused her interests in fashion, beauty, and style. She worked with both the editorial staff and the art team where she perfected her writing and communication skills. InStyle in owned by Time Inc. and due to the abundance of magazines throughout the company Caroline was able to work in different departments of other magazines focusing on more of what she is interested in, marketing and ad sales.. This chance allowed Caroline to expand her horizons and narrow down her interests. Working with both print and digital media Caroline has a vast knowledge of both adobe and Microsoft programs that help with her versatility. When Caroline graduates she wants to relocate to another city because she has worked in NYC for consecutive summers. She is looking into advertising and marketing firms in Dallas, Seattle, and even New Zealand.
